One to two weeks before your appointment, discontinue any blood thinning herbs, supplements or vitamins to ensure your blood is as nutrient rich as possible. On the day of your appointment, eat a full, healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water.

The needles feel like tiny pinpricks and only go skin-deep. The pricks are used to “injure” the skin, prompting your skin to heal itself by producing elastin and collagen, and allowing the PRP to penetrate deeper.
